1. On a PC, install the ETH and/or SOL wallet of your choice (e.g., Metamask for ETH or Solflare for SOL) into your browser. Pin it to top. Get a new wallet. 2. Create a PW. Record it. 3. Record your "seed phrase" in a secure place. Follow the tips on-screen. You can also add the wallet to your smartphone later. 4. You now have a wallet. But, it needs crypto funding (ETH or SOL). Fund your wallet to buy the $2030 coin via decentralized exchanges, such as Uniswap (ETH chain) or Jupiter/Raydium (SOL chain), etc. 5. You can buy ETH/SOL in most wallets via debit/credit card, etc., or you can send in ETH/SOL from another wallet. 6. Go to Uniswap here to swap ETH for $2030 on the ETH chain or go to Jupiter here to swap SOL for $2030 on the SOL chain. Some tokens prompt a "Trade at your own risk" pop-up or some other similar warning(s). Don't worry, it's normal. $2030 is safe, but always do your own research. 7. Click/tap "Swap" and "Confirm swap". Sign & confirm. Gas fees, etc., might apply. "Insufficient funds" means gas fees and/or the total amount is more than you have in your wallet. If so, reject and make changes. Start the transaction again. 8. Once the transaction completes, you now own $2030. But the holdings won't always auto show (especially on Metamask). Don't worry if they don't. In such a case, you must import the $2030 contract address (CA). For Metamask, go to "+ Import token" -> "Custom token" -> "Add contract address".
